Each month this year at World of Snacks we are expanding our international snack store by one country. So far this year we’ve added British Snacks, American Snacks for Export, and German Snacks. April is just around the corner so thought it’d be a good time to announce our next country. In just a few weeks we will begin selling Mexican Snacks online! Our neighbors to the south offer a varied selection of unique flavors and we will offer the best cookies, candy, and chips from Mexico. Leading up to the expansion of our store we will highlight a few snacks that will be included in our inventory. Tonight we are reviewing the Gamesa Mini Mamut Cookies! If you are one of our worldly snack followers you may remember a review earlier this year of the Gamesa Arcoiris Marshmallow cookies. This snack is the one of the items the led us to the decision to include snacks from Mexico. We loved them! Being our snack under review now is also from the Gamesa brand we are hopeful that we will love Mini Mamuts too. Let’s take a closer look. The Gamesa Mini Mamut Cookies come in a small pack of two, weighing in at just an ounce. The package is blue for the most part and has a fun mammoth cartoon on the right. Of course the Gamesa logo is to the left, and the words “Mini Mamut” are centered with two cookies that are missing just a bite shown below. Across the top of the package it states there are “Marshmallow Filled Cookie with a Chocolate Flavored Coating.” Overall the presentation is nice, and rivals any American cookies offered for sale in the US. So they look good, but how do this Mexican Snack taste? After taking a bite we immediately had to go back in for more. Not because we were immediately blown away, but more so to try and single our particular ingredients and flavors. The combination of these cookies is pleasant but not as sweet as we would have guessed. To be honest, that’s OK with us. On many occasions we’ve sample snacks that are simply too sweet, and that is not the case here. The cookies are firm with just enough crunch, the marshmallow sandwiched between the cookies is sticky and thin, and the chocolate flavored coating is just that, chocolate flavored. Overall the Gamesa Mini Mamut Cookies felt and tasted a little cheap but we did really enjoy them and we know you will too. Will World of Snacks offer the Gamesa Mini Mamut Cookies for sale online next month? Well, we already do! A few of our blog followers have already ordered some. We’ve released a few Mexican Snacks early! If you were one of the early birds we’d love to hear what you think below. Do you agree with our review? If you are interested in Mexican Snacks and would like a coupon for a free snack on your next order, be sure to leave your details to the right. Keep on snacking world!
