Cadbury Fingers Christmas Wreath

It’s Christmas Eve and all through the house nothing was stirring, not even a mouse. All is quite, well except the rapid sound of the keyboard clicks as I type this snack review.  World of Snacks is preparing for the launch of our international online snack store that is set to open at the first of the year. Eventually you will be able to buy snacks from all around the world and have them shipped to you in the US or where ever you live.  Each month in 2014 we will add a new country and their best snacks to our inventory including cookies, cakes, chocolates, chips, and sweets.  Our first country is England and leading up to the store opening we are reviewing a different British Snack everyday, including Christmas Eve!  So far we’ve only looked at snacks that you will be able to purchase online from our store.  Tonight we are reviewing a treat that you are going to have to wait a whole year before you can order one for yourself.

In honor of Christmas Eve we are taking a look at a limited production British Holiday Pack made by Cadbury.  We are reviewing the Cadbury Fingers Christmas Wreath! About a year ago we did a review for Cadbury Fingers Original, so why look at the Christmas version as well?  Because it’s Christmas Eve, and this pack has two additional flavors we have yet to try.  Let’s take a look.

Our English Snack under review comes in a big purple box with a perforated top.  There is a festive image of layers of three colored Cadbury Fingers fanned out and some holly toward the bottom, which all comes together to resemble a wreath. W e missed the fine print, which isn’t so fine, reading this packaged contains three individual trays.  When we open the boxed, we were surprised!  The Cadbury Fingers Christmas Wreath isn’t a wreath at all!  Its three separate trays each containing a different version of the Fingers.  In this Christmas set you get Cadbury Milk, Dark, and White Chocolate Fingers.  So we were caught off guard by the presentation, so what?  Let’s see how these Fingers taste.

If you missed our last review of the Fingers, these at not Fingers in the traditional sense (aren’t you glad).  A Cadbury Finger is a cookie that is shaped like a finger and covered with one of the three above-mentioned varieties.  All three are very delicious. Of course they are because they are covered in Cadbury Chocolate, but the cookies itself is quite delightful.   My personal favorite was the white chocolate and the other tester preferred the dark chocolate.   The Cadbury Fingers Christmas Wreath is ideal for putting cookies out for Santa or serving up at a holiday party.
